After the posts and anchors are in, the next step is installing the trap straps. The 10 cinch straps link each outer anchor to its matching T-post and prepare the circle for the net.

What You Need for This Step
10 Cinch Straps
Included in the kit. These run from each outer ground anchor to the matching T-post.
Installed Ground Anchors
Each strap should attach to the anchor that lines up with the post directly across the circle.
Installed T-Posts
Keep the buckle toward the post end so later tightening is easier when the net is hung.
Unwind All 10 Straps
Get every cinch strap out and laid toward its matching post and anchor. Work around the circle so no strap is crossed to the wrong post.
Connect Anchor to Post
Attach each strap from the outer ground anchor to its T-post. Place the buckle near the post. Confirm the strap follows the same alignment used when the anchors were installed.
Leave the Straps Loose
Do not pull the straps tight yet. At this stage you are only staging them. Final tension comes after the net is on the posts.
Setup Tip: A strap connected to the wrong post will lean the circle the same way a misaligned anchor will. Check opposite posts before you move on to the net.
Why the Straps Stay Loose
Loose straps make it easier to slide the midline ring, T-post bracket, and top ring onto each post. Tightening too early fights the net and can pull posts out of plumb.
Once every strap is staged, you are ready for net deployment and cap setup.
